If your looking for authentic Thai food cooked by Thai people I suggest you try this place ! Chicken or tofu panang curry is delicious ! I prefer this place over Zabb!! Hands down ! It’s been under new ownership for the past 2 years ! Fast and friendly service ! Family owned and operated ! Highly recommend !

Love this place. Food is delicious and there's always a table available with quick service. I'm a picky eater and they always get my order right and it's always consistently great. Highly recommend for a quick lunch or take out for later. Two thumbs up and a smile!

Awesome place, awesome food, awesome staff. They remembered us from just one visit before and already knew what we wanted to drink. They go above and beyond to make you feel special and the food is amazing. Pricewise not cheap, but not expensive. I would definitely recommend.

This restaurant is definitely one of the finest place in the area. Whenever I visit this place I am remarkably glad. They hold their very high level service and the highest level of cooking they provide. You definitely will enjoy this this place. Highly recommended.

Excellent food and service. We showed up out of the blue while visiting Fort Lauderdale with 12 people craving Thai food and were all seated together and served quickly and respectfully. The food was very good and the restaurant was clean and attractive. The service was excellent and they were super kind and helpful. We even ordered a few dishes that were not on the menu with which they kindly accommodated us. Would highly recommend!

Great Service and Food Tasted Gooooood

I ordered the 24 Hours Beef Noodle Soup and the Hat Yai Fried Chicken. They're individually very filling so I ended up sharing with my friend. We both agree that these two items are amazingly delicious. The Beef Noodle Soup comes with a huge chunk of super tender beef short rib and savory bone marrow broth. The Hat Yai fried chicken was perfectly fried and the yellow curry that came with it was so flavorful.The service is great as well. My group was celebrating a birthday and if you order a dessert you get a special birthday song! All the servers gather and make it really festive with instruments as they march throughout the restaurant, kind of like a mini parade for the birthday individual.

Amazing customer service and hands down the best Thai food ever!!!! Every dish I’ve had so far is amazing....The wait time is great...The environment is cozy and relaxing....You won’t be disappointed

Authentic Thai restaurant with excellent service and great food. There was not a single thing we tried that we did not love.We highly recommend the thai donuts. Not only were they delicious, they came in a very generous portion.

Very good food and very friendly service. They always greet us with a smile. My wife and I are regulars. We got to try a new dessert at no cost, mango with coconut milk sticky rice. Very good! It's our favorite Thai Restaurant in South Florida.

Tried both dinner and brunch, both worth it!I've seen so many pictures that made me want to try both at Emerald. Service was great and the pictures did justice. Super flavorful and tasted delicious. For Brunch, I ordered:- Matcha Mochi Pancakes [chewy cause of the mochi texture and pretty big portion too]- Fluffy Pancakes with Berries [definitely very fluffy]For Dinner, I ordered:- Por Pia Sod [fresh rolls with sausage]- Guay Tiew Lui Suan [rice wrap rolls with shrimp]- Pad Thai- Mango with Sticky Rice [dessert]Everything was super tasty and for weekends, it do recommend making a reservation just to be safe. There could be days where it might not be over packed, but you don't want to risk it if you came all the way out to try the fluffy pancakes and need to wait a long time. Will definitely come back to try again.

Good food. Quiet place

Don't let the outside of this place throw you off. It's located in that odd shopping strip on 84 right next to Billy's Tavern. Inside is very nicely set up and clean. I went today with my family & friends (2 kids and 5 adults). They seated us in the back where there was more room. FYI it's usually not busy during the week. The food and service was great. The server was very helpful with my 2 year old giving him his own cup and plate to keep him occupied. The owner came out to greet us. He seems like a really nice guy. Definitely going back. Also note that the bad reviews from a year ago was a different owner. The new management is so much better in every aspect.

Excellent place for good Asian cuisine with a nice quaint, cosy environment. Service is quick and overall simply great! Prices are average and on par with most others, serving Asian cuisine in the area. Location is easy to find right off the highway with easy access back to the highway. The decor is beautiful and very clean. The bathrooms are, obviously, well maintained. The only complaint I can come up with was, the portions are very nicely sized, but they didn't serve nearly enough of the curry sauce with the meal. Nevertheless, the tastiness made up for the short fall in sauce. See pics included.

I loved the noodles! However, I was really excited for my shrimp dish, and was really disappointed that the shrimp didn't have any flavor.

This restaurant has quickly become one of my go to Thai places. Their curries are amazing and usually pretty loaded. Their green curry and papaya salad blew me away :) Their customer service is excellent. Waters are always filled, servers are always friendly and super helpful, and food always comes out quickly!

I had a superb time in this place. We enjoyed the nice environment and the meals. The waiters were very affable. I am happy we ultimately decided to visit this place.

The food was good but the food and the service don't merit the wait.

This is our go to thai place when we visit the Fort Lauderdale area! The staff is so nice, and always welcomes us with a smile. They are super helpful when we ask for recommendations, and the food is truly authentic. They make certain dishes that are meant to be spicy at various levels of "hotness", and if you prefer extremely spicy dishes like we do, you will not be disappointed! We go there every time we are in the area, and will wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic, delicious meal. I can't wait till we're back in town again to have the spicy basil chicken!

What a gem! Small place. Decor is quaint. Prices are really reasonable. Staff is friendly and attentive. Food is delicious!!! For appetizer we ordered the Shumai (fried) and Tom Kha Gai. Entree had chicken Panang Curry. Dessert the Thai donuts. Wasn't sure how good the food would be as the place was sadly pretty empty for a Saturday night dinner at 8pm but wow, the food was great! No idea why this place was not packed but I hope people visit and keep this place open. My husband and I will definitely be back!

The food here is very authentic, I wasn’t much for thai before but this restaurant has really converted me. I have been here many times and have tried many different menu items and so far I have enjoyed them all. The owners make you feel like family.

Food is fresh and tastes great. We had misu soup and chicken dumpling soup, they were perfect. The papaya salad was great and the pineapple fried rice also perfect! Thai tea was delicious. My waiter was super nice and helpful. He was also very honest. When we got there, he had 3 tables with customers and told us we would be waiting about half an hour to get food. We weren't in a hurry so we said ok. It was Sunday about 12:50pm. I think we waited 10 mins to be waited on for our first order which was the drinks but the ball got rolling from there. We put our whole order in. 3 mins, drinks and soups came, 10 mins later salad, 10 mins later the rice. I will definitely return, food was superb and the staff super nice.

Hidden gem, cozy, great decor and classy music. The new owners are focusing on bringing authentic and quality Thai food back to the menu and moving away from generic American-Thai. Definitely recommend!

I've been dining at Emerald Thai for years and it never fails to impress. This restaurant is more of a family run style that aims to delight each customer. If something is not right, they will make it right for you. But it's the flavors they are able to deliver in their foods that keep me coming back time and again. If portions are your thing, go for the lunch special with unlimited soup and salad. The ginger and peanut dressings are the best!

Incredibly friendly and polite staff who are very attentive. The beautiful woodwork inside creates a cozy atmosphere where you can enjoy their killer food. Just moved to Florida from the west coast and am so happy to have found an affordable Thai restaurant with authentic flavors!

Food was terrific which at the end of the day is the deciding factor. Place smelled like the wood paneling. Felt old. Service was slow because there is only 1 server and 1 cook. Server was polite and quick.
